Jake’s Farewell!

After more than a decade of caring for Epping North children and families, Jake is leaving our centre – and what a ride it’s been. He’s been there for countless milestones in our epping north community: welcoming our kindies on their first day, getting to know younger siblings before they come to school, celebrating birthdays, awards and participation in school events, cheering kids on at weekend soccer, lending a listening ear when kids have a problem - his connection to our community runs deep.
We too have been so lucky in sharing milestones in Jake’s life while he’s been with us, including the joy of his marriage, welcoming his child into the world and, most recently, toasting the purchase of his new home. We’ll miss Jake’s boundless energy, warmth, empathy and the playful spirit he brings to every day, but we’re excited that he’ll be spreading that same magic to a new school community a little closer to home. Thank you, Jake, for everything you’ve done for our families; we know many of you will reach out personally, and we’d also love you to join us to celebrate him on the afternoon of 25 August - everyone’s welcome.
